Double Chins are influenced by Excess weight, genetic make-up, and age or life time are the identified . These are the main reasons that double chins are developed. Double chins are visible to those who eat lots of fatty foods and sugar. Unfortunately, this eating habit not only results to having double chins but also an increase in body weight. It does seem ironic though how even the skinniest people can develop double chins. This shows that you can have double chins regardless of your weight. Also, gradual aging can mean gradual slow of metabolic rate thus fat storage is increased.

Shape up your chin

Following are some various simple exercises you can do for your double chins. For best results, make it a point to perform these exercises regularly and everyday.

1.      Rotate slowly your neck in a clockwise direction, then counterclockwise afterwards (do in 10 counts once or twice a day then increase gradually).

2.      Move slowly your head from chest and raise it up (do in 10 counts once or twice a day then increase gradually).

3.      Try forcing your chin forward as far as you can. Do this without moving both upper body and shoulders (hold this position 5-10 seconds and release).

4.      Turn slowly your head from a right to left directions then left to right afterwards (do in 10 counts once or twice a day then increase gradually).

5.      Contract your neck muscles then relax (do in 10 counts once or twice a day then increase gradually).

6.      While lying on your back with shoulders slightly lifted from the floor, perform both items 1 and 2 (do in 10 counts once or twice a day then increase gradually).

7.      While sitting, move your head up with chin towards the ceiling and then pull out your lips, stretching them the farthest you can (hold this position 5-10 seconds and release).

Generally, doing a regular full body exercise will benefit the whole parts of the body is significantly beneficial. Thus, it is recommended to include at least a 30-minute exercise into your daily routine. Regular exercise helps the body to

(1) reduce threats of developing some illnesses or diseases (e.g., diabetes, heart problems),

(2) strengthen stamina that helps in enhancing both mental and physical performance,

(3) get rid of bodily toxins,

(4) enhance psychological strength,

(5) in controlling and maintaining a desired weight, and

(6) in building bones and muscles.

 A well-balance diet must be maintained alongside the regular exercise. Keeping a balance between exercise and diet can help you achieve enhanced holistic well-being.
